List of documents required from foreign applicants for bachelor’s studies

The documents listed below should be prepared in electronic form to be enclosed in the enrolment system in PDF files. After being accepted candidate delivers originals in paper form (including photocopies).

Personal documents

1. Passport – the page with photo (or ID card in the case of European Union citizens).
2. One photo on paper (passport/ID format – 3.5 x 4.5 cm) and in electronic form attached to the enrolment system (necessary to issue a student ID card).
3. In the case of persons who have obtained a PESEL number in Poland, a document enabling verification of the number.
4. Two signed declarations (available for download below) confirming:
   • having necessary funds for the duration of stay in Poland

Education documents

1. The original of the graduation certificate of secondary education filed along with legalization issued by Polish Embassy or with apostille. Legalization is required from candidates whose country is not on the list concerning apostille (according to The 5 October 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement for Legalization for Foreign Public Documents).NOTE: From candidates who obtained their certificate in Ukraine, in addition to the certificate, the result of NMT exam conducted no earlier than in 2023 is required. Belarusian citizens who have taken the CT exam should also include their exam results in the recruitment system but this is not strictly required. Exam results (with the candidate’s name and surname) must be translated by a sworn translator (list of translators in point 2). NMT and CT documents do not need to be certified with an apostille.

2. Sworn translation into Polish of the graduation certificate of secondary education together with legalization/apostille. Translation cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals. Documents must be translated after obtaining apostille/legalization. 3. The supplement/transcript  of records of a didactic process (or other document from the candidate’s secondary school filed along with legalization/apostille. The supplement/transcript of records should include the list of didactic courses, the grades from these courses, the number of hours designed for these courses (the list of subjects and the list of received grades).

4. Sworn translation into Polish of the supplement/transcript of records, together with legalization/apostille (point 3), prepared by the person or institutions mentioned in point 2. Translation cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille.
5. Document with the grading scale containing the national scale of marks obtained on the certificate, if this is not indicated on the secondary school certificate, or other document obtained abroad, certified by the school from which the candidate graduated.
6. Sworn translation into Polish of the document presenting the grading scale (point 5). Translation cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals.
7. A certificate confirming language proficiency at a minimum of B2 level.

8. A certificate of recognition of a secondary school leaving certificate:
   • Decision of the Education Superintendent (“Kurator Oświaty”) regarding the recognition of the certificate – decision issued by 30 June 2025 or
   • The NAWA’s Director individual recognition statement about the certificate – decision issued from 1 July 2025.

The NAWA’s Director individual recognition statement of education is not required in the case of secondary school-leaving certificates issued in EU, OECD or EFTA member states covered by international agreements on the recognition of education, IB and EB certificates.

9. The Recruitment Committee may ask the applicant to provide a document confirming that the candidate’s graduation certificate of secondary education entitles him/her to undertake higher education studies in all types of higher education institutions in the country where the secondary education was completed. Such certificate may be issued by the candidate’s secondary school authorities or the equivalent of Ministry of Education in a given country.
   The confirmation is not required if the proper information can be found on the graduation certificate of secondary education and from candidates who obtained IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma issued by the International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva or EB (European Baccalaureate) Diploma issued by the European Schools in accordance with the Convention defining the Statute of the European Schools.

10. Sworn translation into Polish of the document mentioned in point 8 (if required) prepared by the person or institution described in point 2. Translation cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals.

Documents regarding fees

1. Confirmation of payment of the enrolment fee 85 PLN to the individual account indicated in the system. In the case of candidates for first-cycle studies who are required to take an entrance exam in mathematics, the enrolment fee is PLN 100.
2. Confirmation of payment of the fee for the first semester of studies (a requirement for candidates undertaking paid studies).

Documents needed in further stages of enrolment process

1. Personal data form, Enrolment application, Vows, Declaration

          Four additional documents should be downloaded and printed from the Enrolment applications tab → Documents and further steps section, then signed and delivered with the complete set of documents to the University according to the schedule.

NOTE: In the case of underage applicants, the Consent of parents/legal guardians is required for the underage person to undertake studies.  The form can be downloaded and printed from the Enrolment applications tab → Documents and further steps section.  

2. Photocopy of insurance policy of an accidents and health insurance policy for the period of education in Poland or the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or a document confirming the insurance agreement with the National Health Fund (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia – NFZ). The photocopy of the document should be delivered to the Enrollment Office (or the Student’s Office, after the start of classes) with the original for inspection.
3. Document confirming legal stay in Poland (visa, residence card) – photocopy, original    available for inspection.  Candidate is obliged to provide the document to the Enrolment Office (or the Student’s Office – after the start of classes). 

Please note:

• All original documents that the candidate will finally submit to the University and which have been issued in a language other than Polish requires sworn translation into Polish.  Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille. Translations  cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals.
• In the case of documents issued in English, only at the stage of electronic recruitment in the system, translation into Polish is not required. After receiving a decision on admission, sworn translations from English into Polish must be provided to the university. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille. Translations cannot be made from scans, photocopies etc., but from originals.
• In case of documents issued in a language other than Polish or English, it is necessary to attach a translation into Polish or English in the recruitment system. At the stage of electronic recruitment, translations into Polish made by a translator other than those listed above are acceptable. After receiving a decision on admission, sworn translations from English into Polish must be provided to the university. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille. Translations cannot be made from scans, photocopies etc., but from originals.
• The candidate is required to attach the above-mentioned documents in the recruitment system as PDF files in a quality that allows their evaluation. Scans that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.

Failure to deliver the original documents to the University by the specified deadline will result in revocation of the admission decision.

TUITION FEES FOR FOREIGNERS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027

Enrolment fee: 85 PLN for each chosen program. Enrolment fee is not refundable.

Please note: enrolment fee should be paid to the individual bank account indicated in the enrolment system (IRK). Please do not pay tuition fee to this account.

Foreign students, excluding persons referred to in art. 324, section 2 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024 item 1571, as amended), undertake full-time and part-time studies, conducted both in Polish and English, with full payment, i.e.:

Foreign students – only citizens of a Member State of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation, or Member State of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) and members of their families who live on the territory of the Republic of Poland pay the tuition fees like Polish citizens, i.e.:

Studies in Polish

The tuition fees for full-time studies conducted in Polish language is not collected from non-nationals mentioned in art. 324, section 2 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024 item 1571, as amended), i.e: 

1) a foreigner – a citizen of a Member State of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation or a Member State of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) and their family members, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

2) a foreigner – a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, referred to in art. 10 sec. 1 letter b or d of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community (OJ EU L 29 of 31.01.2020, p. 7, as amended), and his family members, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

2) a foreigner who has been granted a permanent residence permit or a long-term resident of the European Union;

3) a foreigner who has been granted a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in art. 159 sec. 1 or art. 186 sec. 1 point 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on Foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2024, items 769 and 1222);

4) a foreigner who has refugee status granted in the Republic of Poland or benefits from temporary protection or subsidiary protection in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

5) a foreigner – holder of a certificate confirming knowledge of Polish as a foreign language, referred to in art. 11a sec. 2 of the Act of 7 October 1999 on the Polish language (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 672 and of 2023, item 1672), at least at the C1 language proficiency level;

6) a holder of the Polish Card or a person who has been issued a decision on determining Polish origin;

7) a foreigner who is a spouse, ancestor or descendant of a citizen of the Republic of Poland, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

8) a foreigner who has been granted a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in art. 151 sec. 1 or art. 151b sec. 1 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners, or staying in the territory of the Republic of Poland in connection with the use of short-term mobility of a scientist under the conditions specified in art. 156b sec. 1 of this Act or holding a national visa for the purpose of conducting scientific research or development work.

3. Equations and inequalities

• Solving simple equations and inequalities: linear, quadratic, rational,

4. Sequences, especially arithmetic and geometric sequences

• Formula for the nth term.

5. Plane geometry

• Understanding of concepts: side, area, radius of a circle, diameter,
• Knowledge of surface area formulas for: square, rectangle, triangle, circle.

6. Probability theory

• Arithmetic and geometric mean,
• Median, mode,
• Calculating the number of elementary events.
