After being accepted candidate delivers originals in paper form (including photocopies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Personal documents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Passport\u00a0\u2013 the page with photo (or ID card in the case of European Union citizens).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One photo\u00a0on paper (passport\/ID format \u2013 3.5 x 4.5 cm) and in electronic form attached to the enrolment system (necessary to issue a student ID card).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the case of persons who have obtained a PESEL number in Poland, a document enabling verification of the number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two signed declarations\u00a0(available for download below) confirming:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>having necessary funds for the duration of stay in Poland<br><a href=\"https:\/\/rekrutacja.uew.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/05\/Oswiadczenie-o-posiadanych-srodkach-finansowych-na-utrzymanie-w-Polsce.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Declaration about funds \u2013 Download<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>having health insurance in Poland<br><a href=\"https:\/\/rekrutacja.uew.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/04\/nfz_oswiadczenie.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Declaration about health insurance \u2013 Download<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Education documents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The original of the graduation certificate of secondary education<\/strong>\u00a0filed along with\u00a0legalization\u00a0issued by Polish Embassy or with\u00a0apostille.\u00a0Legalization is required from candidates whose country is not on the list concerning apostille (according to The 5 October 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement for Legalization for Foreign Public Documents).<strong>NOTE:<\/strong> From candidates who obtained their certificate in Ukraine, in addition to the certificate, the <strong>result of NMT exam<\/strong> conducted no earlier than in 2023 is required. Belarusian citizens who have taken the CT exam should also include their exam results in the recruitment system but this is not strictly required. Exam results (with the candidate\u2019s name and surname) must be translated by a sworn translator (list of translators in point 2). Translation cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization\/apostille.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Document with the grading scale containing the national scale<\/strong>\u00a0of marks obtained on the certificate, if this is not indicated on the secondary school certificate, or other document obtained abroad, certified by the\u00a0school from which the candidate graduated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sworn translation into Polish<\/strong>\u00a0of the document presenting the grading scale (point 5). Translation cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A certificate confirming language proficiency at a minimum of B2 level.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rekrutacja.uew.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/List-of-documents-English-B2.pdf\">English language: The list of recognized certificates<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A certificate of recognition of a secondary school leaving certificate<\/strong>:<ul><li>Decision of the Education Superintendent (\u201cKurator O\u015bwiaty\u201d) regarding the recognition of the certificate \u2013 decision issued by 30 June 2025 or<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The NAWA\u2019s Director individual recognition statement about the certificate \u2013 decision issued from 1 July 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NAWA\u2019s Director individual recognition statement of education is not required in the case of secondary school-leaving certificates issued in EU, OECD or EFTA member states covered by international agreements on the recognition of education, IB and EB certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More information at: <a href=\"https:\/\/nawa.gov.pl\/en\/recognition\/recognition-for-academic-purposes\/applying-for-admission-to-first-long-cycle-studies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/nawa.gov.pl\/en\/recognition\/recognition-for-academic-purposes\/applying-for-admission-to-first-long-cycle-studies<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"9\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Recruitment Committee may ask the applicant to provide a document confirming that the candidate\u2019s graduation certificate of secondary education\u00a0entitles him\/her to undertake higher education studies in all types of higher education institutions in the country where the secondary education was completed.\u00a0Such certificate may be issued by the candidate\u2019s secondary school authorities or the equivalent of Ministry of Education in a given country.<br>The confirmation is not required if the proper information can be found on the graduation certificate of secondary education and from candidates who obtained IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma issued by the International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva or EB (European Baccalaureate) Diploma issued by the European Schools in accordance with the Convention defining the Statute of the European Schools.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"10\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sworn translation into Polish\u00a0of the document mentioned in point 8 (if required) prepared by the person or institution described in point 2. Translation cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Documents regarding fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Confirmation of payment of the enrolment fee 85 PLN to the individual account indicated in the system. In the case of candidates for first-cycle studies who are required to take an entrance exam in mathematics, the enrolment fee is PLN 100.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirmation of payment of the fee for the first semester of studies (a requirement for candidates undertaking paid studies).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Documents needed in further stages of enrolment process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Personal data form, Enrolment application, Vows, Declaration<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Four additional documents should be downloaded and printed from the Enrolment applications tab \u2192 Documents and further steps section, then signed and delivered with the complete set of documents to the University according to the schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0In the case of underage applicants, the\u00a0<strong>Consent of parents\/legal guardians<\/strong>\u00a0is required for the underage person to undertake studies.\u00a0 The form can be downloaded and printed from the Enrolment applications tab \u2192 Documents and further steps section.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Photocopy of insurance policy<\/strong>\u00a0of an accidents and health insurance policy for the period of education in Poland or the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or a document confirming the insurance agreement with the National Health Fund (<em>Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia \u2013 NFZ<\/em>). The photocopy of the document should be delivered to the Enrollment Office (or the Student\u2019s Office, after the start of classes) with the original for inspection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Document confirming legal stay in Poland<\/strong>\u00a0(visa, residence card) \u2013 photocopy, original \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0available for inspection.\u00a0 Candidate is obliged to provide the document to the Enrolment Office (or the Student\u2019s Office \u2013 after the start of classes).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All original documents that the candidate will finally submit to the University and which have been issued in a language other than Polish requires sworn translation into Polish.\u00a0 Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization\/apostille. Translations\u00a0 cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In the case of documents issued in English<\/strong>, only at the stage of electronic recruitment in the system, translation into Polish is not required. After receiving a decision on admission, sworn translations from English into Polish must be provided to the university. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization\/apostille. Translations cannot be made from scans, photocopies etc., but from originals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In case of documents issued in a language other than Polish or English<\/strong>, it is necessary to attach a translation into Polish or English in the recruitment system. At the stage of electronic recruitment, translations into Polish made by a translator other than those listed above are acceptable. After receiving a decision on admission, sworn translations from English into Polish must be provided to the university. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization\/apostille. Translations cannot be made from scans, photocopies etc., but from originals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidate is required to attach the above-mentioned documents in the recruitment system as PDF files in a quality that allows their evaluation. Law on Higher Education and Science (<em>consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024 item 1571, as amended<\/em>), i.e:<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) a foreigner \u2013 a citizen of a Member State of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation or a Member State of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) and their family members, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) a foreigner \u2013 a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, referred to in art. 10 sec. 1 letter b or d of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community (OJ EU L 29 of 31.01.2020, p. 7, as amended), and his family members, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) a foreigner who has been granted a permanent residence permit or a long-term resident of the European Union;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3) a foreigner who has been granted a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in art. 159 sec. 1 or art. 186 sec. 1 point 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on Foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2024, items 769 and 1222);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4) a foreigner who has refugee status granted in the Republic of Poland or benefits from temporary protection or subsidiary protection in the territory of the Republic of Poland;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5) a foreigner &#8211;
