Enrolment schedule for foreigners applying for admission to paid full-time and part-time studies in the academic year 2025/2026

02 June – 22 July, 2025 till 11:59 p.m. (Polish time)	Registration of Candidates in the Online Registration System for Candidates – IRK	During this time, the applicant needs to create a recruitment account, fill in all the required data, upload an electronic photograph, attach scans of documents, select the course of studies – create the application, pay a recruitment fee of PLN 85 – the individual account number for the recruitment fee is generated in the recruitment system in the Candidate’s account. Applications for which no fees are paid do not take part in the recruitment process. The recruitment fee is not reimbursed. In addition, the candidate is obliged to pay the fee for the first semester of studies to the account for the tuition fee indicated by the University.
19  September, 2025 till 2:00 p.m. (Polish time)	The deadline for submitting documents (paper version) by candidates admitted to studies.	The required documents should be delivered in paper form by traditional mail or courier to the address indicated by the Recruitment Committee. Candidates are required to provide original documents and photocopies along with sworn translations. The given date, September 19, 2025, means the date of delivery of the documents to the Admission Committee, not the date of sending the package.

Complete the required documents.

1. Create an account in the enrolment system before the registration deadline.
2. Upload a photo – 3,5 x 4,5 cm (passport type) to issue student’s ID.
3. Enter the candidate’s e-mail address for the direct contact.
   Please note: All important information regarding the start of the academic year will also be sent to this address.
4. Fill in form with data in the My account → Personal forms tab.
   The data you enter into the form must match the exact data in your passport (number, name, surname, date and place of birth). Please enter the details of your education documents in the Education section without attaching files there.
   
   If you apply for Bachelor program, please select the three required qualification subjects from the secondary school certificate (“Matura”), without entering the results, in the Edit exam results field.
5. 6. Choose the program of study – “Sign up”. In order to enroll to the chosen program you must complete further data and enclose the required documents in the enrolment system.
   To that effect, prepare a file with a scan of each document from the list.
   The applicable rule is that one document is one file.
   
   The procedure in the case of documents consisting of more than one page is:
   •    scan each page of a given document,
   •    connect all the scans with the pages of a given document to form a single file.
   
   The file prepared in this way should be saved as a PDF file and enclosed where indicated by the system in the section New application. The submission of all the required documents should follow the same procedure.
   NB: Scans of poor quality and in the wrong format will not be considered.
6. After registering for the chosen study program you should pay enrolment fee 85 PLN to the individual bank account indicated in the enrolment system: My account → Payments  tab.     The title of the enrolment fee should include the candidate’s first name, surname and the name of the chosen study program. Enrolment fee is not refundable.
7. If the documents, uploaded by the candidate, meet all the requirements and the enrolment fee is paid, the candidate will receive a message from [email protected]
   with a request to pay the tuition fee for the first semester of studies (payment for the whole year of studies is also possible). The details of bank account number will be also sent.
8. Proof of payment of the tuition fee (in the form of an attached file) should be sent in response of Recruitment Committee’s message to the e-mail address: [email protected]
   The title of the transfer should include the name and surname from the passport and the following note:” Fee for the first semester ” (or for the first year).
9. After receiving the proof of payment, the Recruitment Committee will issue the admission letter to studies (in Polish language only). The scan of the letter will be sent as an attachment to the candidate’s account in the enrolment system (available  in the Messages tab). The original letter will be sent by post to the candidate’s address indicated in the system.
   Note: The address must include a postcode.
10. The candidate, who obtained the letter of admission to the studies based on the scans  of  documents, must deliver to the University the originals of documents, their photocopies and sworn translations into Polish – please refer to the schedule.  Translations cannot not be made from scans, photocopies, etc. Only sworn translations from the originals will be accepted. Documents should be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille.

Note: In the case of underage candidates, the Declaration is signed by the candidate and a parent (or legal guardian).

The list of documents required from foreign candidates
The documents listed below should be prepared in electronic form to be enclosed in the enrolment system in PDF files. After being accepted candidate delivers originals in paper form (including photocopies).

Personal documents

1. Passport – the page with photo (or ID card in the case of European Union citizens).
2. One photo – on paper (passport/ID format – 3.5 x 4.5 cm) and in electronic form attached to the enrolment system (necessary to issue a student ID card).  
3. Two signed declarations (available for download below) confirming:
   • having necessary funds for the duration of stay in Poland

Education documents

1. Bachelor diploma giving access to master studies at any university in the country where the diploma was issued filed along with legalization issued by Polish Embassy or with apostille.
   Legalization is required from candidates whose country is not on the list concerning apostille (according to The 5 October 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement for Legalization for Foreign Public Documents).

   Please Note: Legalization and apostille are required even if a given country signed an agreement lifting the necessity of an official recognition of foreign certificates and diplomas from a given country.
2. Sworn translation into Polish of the mentioned above original diploma together with legalization/apostille. Translation cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille.

4. Sworn translation into Polish of the supplement/transcript together with legalization/apostille (point 3), made  by the person or institution described in point 2.

5. Written information about the diploma issued by NAWA confirming eligibility to apply for admission to second-cycle studies. Such a statement is mandatory for diplomas issued in countries outside the EU, EFTA or OECD member states and not covered by international agreements on the recognition of education.    Note: The Admissions Committee may ask the candidate to provide additional certification confirming the right to pursue second-cycle studies issued by the university that issued the diploma or by an office equivalent to the Ministry of Education and Science.
6. Sworn translation into Polish of the document described in point 5 made by the person or institution described in point 2.
7. Certificate of language proficiency at a minimum level of B2.

DOCUMNTS REGARDING FEES

• Confirmation of payment of the enrollment fee 85 PLN to the individual account indicated in the system.
• Confirmation of payment of tuition fee for the first semester of studies (condition to be fulfilled by candidates undertaking paid studies).

Please note:

• All original documents that the candidate will finally submit to the University and which have been issued in a language other than Polish requires sworn translation into Polish.  Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille. Translations  cannot be made from scans, photocopies, etc., but from originals.
• In the case of documents issued in English, only at the stage of electronic recruitment in the system, translation into Polish is not required. After receiving a decision on admission, sworn translations from English into Polish must be provided to the university. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille. Translations cannot be made from scans, photocopies etc., but from originals.
• In case of documents issued in a language other than Polish or English, it is necessary to attach a translation into Polish or English in the recruitment system. At the stage of electronic recruitment, translations into Polish made by a translator other than those listed above are acceptable. After receiving a decision on admission, sworn translations from English into Polish must be provided to the university. Documents must be translated after obtaining legalization/apostille. Translations cannot be made from scans, photocopies etc., but from originals.
• The candidate is required to attach the above-mentioned documents in the recruitment system as PDF files in a quality that allows their evaluation. Scans that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.

Documents needed in further stages of enrollment process (the presentation possible after admission to the University)

1. Personal data form, Enrollment application, Vows, Declaration.
   Four additional documents  should  be downloaded and printed from the Enrollment applications tab → Documents and further steps section,  then signed and delivered with the complete set of documents to the University according to the schedule.
2. Photocopy of insurance policy of an accidents and health insurance policy for the period of education in Poland or the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or a document confirming the insurance agreement with the National Health Fund (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia – NFZ). The photocopy of the document should be delivered to the Enrolment Office (or the Student’s Office – after the start of classes – with the original for inspection).
3. Document confirming legal stay in Poland (visa, residence card) – photocopy, original available for inspection. Candidate is obliged to provide the document to the Enrolment Office (or the Student’s Office – after the start of classes). 

Failure to deliver the original documents to the University by the specified deadline will result in revocation of the admission decision.

Studies in Polish

The tuition fees for full-time studies conducted in Polish language is not collected from non-nationals mentioned in art. 324, section 2 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024 item 1571, as amended), i.e: 

1) a foreigner – a citizen of a Member State of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation or a Member State of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) and their family members, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

2) a foreigner – a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, referred to in art. 10 sec. 1 letter b or d of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community (OJ EU L 29 of 31.01.2020, p. 7, as amended), and his family members, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

2) a foreigner who has been granted a permanent residence permit or a long-term resident of the European Union;

3) a foreigner who has been granted a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in art. 159 sec. 1 or art. 186 sec. 1 point 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on Foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2024, items 769 and 1222);

4) a foreigner who has refugee status granted in the Republic of Poland or benefits from temporary protection or subsidiary protection in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

5) a foreigner – holder of a certificate confirming knowledge of Polish as a foreign language, referred to in art. 11a sec. 2 of the Act of 7 October 1999 on the Polish language (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 672 and of 2023, item 1672), at least at the C1 language proficiency level;

6) a holder of the Polish Card or a person who has been issued a decision on determining Polish origin;

7) a foreigner who is a spouse, ancestor or descendant of a citizen of the Republic of Poland, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

8) a foreigner who has been granted a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in art. 151 sec. 1 or art. 151b sec. 1 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners, or staying in the territory of the Republic of Poland in connection with the use of short-term mobility of a scientist under the conditions specified in art. 156b sec. 1 of this Act or holding a national visa for the purpose of conducting scientific research or development work.
